Gewichtsmanagement im Olympischen Boxen Betrachtung aktueller Vorgehensweisen und Strategien sowie die Entwicklung eines Fragebogens
The present literature paper deals with the problem of weight management in certain sports, especially martial arts. After a detailed introduction to the topic, the problems are first pointed out. It is already clear to her that there are few useful studies in the available literature, especially in German-speaking countries. As a result, trainers only have limited information opportunities in the German-speaking area.
But even in the international literature, the problem is not clearly described. Further-more, 3 forms of weight making are shown, the evaluation of which is clearly defined for high-performance sports: the method of long-term weight management is pre-sented as ideal.
Subsequently, the health consequences and the influence of weight making on physiological relationships are described. For the pragmatic approach, the empirical part presents the development of a questionnaire.
Finally, it is made clear once again that awareness of the topic should be updated through an interdisciplinary exchange with doctors, scientists, coaches and athletes. Weight making is part of the training and competition routine of many athletes.
