Ende August fand in Paris am INSEP, dem Zentrum für den Spitzensport in Frankreich, diese gemeinsame Konferenz von ENSSEE (European Network of Sport Science, Education & Employment) und ICCE (International Council for Sport Education) statt. Über 150 Teilnehmer aus allen Kontinenten nahmen teil.

From the 25th to the 27th of August 2011, INSEP welcomes “Innovation and Practice” - the first joint conference of the European Network of Sport Science, Education and Employment (ENSSEE) and the International Council for Coach Education (ICCE). The conference of these two internationally operating sport networks provides a platform for presentations and discussions on innovation, best practices and latest developments in terms of education and employment in the sports sector.

Der „2^nd International Workshop for Coaching Excellence“ fand vom 27.-29.4.2011 in Köln statt und wurde von der Trainerakademie Köln des DOSB  gemeinsam mit dem ICCE (International Council for Coach Education) durchgeführt. Gefördert wurde diese Veranstaltung durch das Bundesministerium des Innern und den Deutschen Olympischen Sport
