8th ICCE Global Coach Conference und 11th Enssee Forum gemeinsam am INSEP (Paris)

From the 25th to the 27th of August 2011, INSEP welcomes “Innovation and Practice” - the first joint conference of the European Network of Sport Science, Education and Employment (ENSSEE) and the International Council for Coach Education (ICCE). The conference of these two internationally operating sport networks provides a platform for presentations and discussions on innovation, best practices and latest developments in terms of education and employment in the sports sector. The event will be held in the refurbished facilities at the world renowned INSEP, Paris.

The Forum with its subtitle “A Platform for Sport Education and Employment in Europe” will focus on innovation, best practice and latest developments within education, employment and training in the European Sport Sector. The event will provide a platform for analysis of emerging trends, needs and issues in the areas of coaching, physical activity, healthy lifestyle, physical education, and sport management following the publication of the EU Lisbon Treaty and the White Paper on sport.

Furthermore, the Global Conference brings together coaches and coach educators, researchers and sport scientists as well as technical directors and sport administrators to address issues in coaching, to learn about new coaching research, and to share experiences with the top coaching development experts in the world. The convention will also include a report on the progress in developing a Global Framework for the Recognition of Coaching Competence and Qualifications. The ICCE will consider a number of important proposals on the future direction of the organization.
